🚀 Getting started (install + unlock)
- Open tongues-ai.com in your phone browser (Safari on iPhone, Chrome on Android).
- Add to home screen — iPhone: Share → "Add to Home Screen". Android: ⋮ menu → "Add to Home screen".
- To unlock unlimited use: tap "Go Pro" → the green "Have a promo / beta code?" button → enter your email (+ a code if you have one) → Activate Pro.
🎙️ Record & transcribe a meeting
- Go to the Record tab, type a title, pick the language, and choose a folder to save into.
- Tap the big microphone. Keep the screen ON and speak — transcribed text streams in as you talk.
- Tap the red square to stop. It finishes transcribing, then you can Save or Delete.
- On a call? Put it on speakerphone, then record.
✍️ Edit or fix a transcript
- Open the Library tab and tap the recording.
- Tap the pencil icon at the top, edit the text, then tap "Save edits".
📁 Folders & organizing
- Create a folder in the Folders tab, or right on the Record screen before recording so it files automatically.
- In Library, tap the folder pills to filter. Open any recording to move it via the Folder dropdown.
🌐 Translate
- Open any recording, pick a language at the bottom, and tap "Translate".
- The translation appears under the transcript and is saved with it (100+ languages).
🤖 AI actions (what each button does)
- Summarize → TL;DR + key points.
- Action Items → tasks, to-dos, and follow-ups as a checklist.
- Clean up → removes "um/uh" and fixes grammar.
- Rewrite → turns rough speech into polished writing.
📄 Export & share (Word, PDF, Print, Email)
- Under any transcript, use the toolbar: Word · PDF · Print · Copy · Share · Email.
- Word/PDF open the share sheet (Save to Files, open in Word, email). Print opens your device's print dialog.
💾 Backup, restore & delete
- Your recordings live on your device only (private — nothing in the cloud).
- Docs tab → "Save a copy" downloads one file; "Restore a copy" loads it on any device; "Delete everything" wipes this device.
